Shikha Rajput is a UK based textile designer blending Indian heritage techniques with contemporary disruption. Her tactile, research and driven practice transforms deadstock and scraps through block printing, fabric distortion, edge burning, and repair unearthing emotional resonance at the crossroads of instinct, memory, and materiality.
Her journey into textiles began when she left her Biotechnology studies midway to follow a deeper creative calling one where emotion and intellect could speak through cloth. With roots in science and an instinct for artistry, she has been slowly evolving towards slow textile printing and minimal digital craft, shaping a distinct language of authenticity, tactility, and timeless sensuality. Through minimal waste processes, she fuses refined elegance with bold provocation, redefining boundaries where control and chaos converge.
With international experience, Shikha has exhibited at Africa Fashion Week London, designed immersive spaces for Soboye Reimagined at Winchester School of Art, and collaborated on Ajrakh prints for Khinkhwab Design Studio alongside Amanda Kelly Ltd. She has worked with Lucy Tammam, a world renowned, sustainable designer for "London Fashion Week 2026 : Camden as a Catwalk". Her resilient innovation proves creativity thrives in constraint, crafting textiles that provoke, endure, and haunt.
